The first step is to contact us from our details at the “contact us” page. There, you can find our Whatsapp numbers, email, or Instagram page. Choose whichever communication channel of your preference and our team will reply as soon as they can to understand your project.
Consultation
The second step of ordering to an apparel manufacturer like us is to tell us what you would like for us to produce. For OEM (original equipment manufacturer) production, be as specific as possible about the specifications of your clothing or garment. The more information that you give to us, the better the clarity.
You can send over a technical sheet or tech pack for our team to better understand the details of your garments. A tech pack typically includes:
- A clothing’s technical drawing to highlight the shape and silhouette of the garment,
- Sizing and measurement specifications of the garment,
- The specific fabrics that need to be used at specific areas,
- Any trims and accessories such as buttons, zippers, the types and colours of each of the components and where it would be in or on the garments.
- Any other working instruction such as types of seams, sewing or construction techniques. This could include stitching techniques or machineries used such as single needle, double needle, overlock stitch, over deck stitch, zig-zag stitch, flat-seam stitch, seam bonding, laser cutting, sublimation printing, pleating, washing, or any other techniques not listed above.
This will aid us on exploring the feasibility and cost considerations for your project and will be beneficial as a reference to begin the sampling process and even through production.
Sampling
After understanding your project better, MVI’s team will issue an invoice for sample making, the amount varies dependent on the complexity of the project and materials required. After the sample payment is received, we will start processing your sample, this can be done as soon as 1 week depending on our sample queue, but please note that at certain period we will be handling a lot more volume of samples that could cause longer sampling queue times. Please be prepared to be patient and flexible with your schedule and be prepared for multiple rounds of sampling to meet your product expectations. This is normal and taking time with your samples can be beneficial for your project as we can take time reviewing every single detail and revising them until they’re approved.
Bulk Production
Bulk production is the next stage of the process. After the sampling stage, our team will give you a Sales Order for the production. After down payment, we immediately purchase all the materials for your fashion or sportswear production and immediately queue it in our production. We aim to work on your project as quickly as possible as we know that time is money, and it must be converted into finished goods as soon as possible. During the production stage, MVI will constantly be running quality checks at each point of the production. The customer is usually welcome to see the production process in action, they can schedule a visit with our team to come for quality checks, content making, or maybe even discuss the next project.
Quality Control and Packing
After production is done, our production team will do a final round of inspections on the garment, checking the sizing specifications, quality of construction, the appearance and cleanliness of the garments, before packing them to their respective packaging and preparing for shipment. If you choose to visit during the quality checking stage, please schedule a visit with our team.Once production and quality control checks are clear, the customer would pay the remaining balance before shipment.
Shipment and Delivery
Shipment, delivery, or pick up can be arranged with our team based on your preferences. We are flexible with many modes of transportation, depending on the urgency of the delivery, we can use instant couriers and cargo couriers for shipment of the final goods.
